Your Epsom Workshop
Everything you need to know before drop off — timings, show day and what to pack.
Times & location
Drop off from 8:30am, Workshops run 9:00am – 4:00pm daily. Group time is at 3:45pm and parents are welcome to attend each day.
Venue: Raye Freedman Arts Centre
Parking
Albury Avenue (off Gillies Ave) is typically the easiest place to find parking. The Silver Road carpark is one-way only, accessible via Gate 5 from Manukau Road, exiting onto Gillies Ave. Drop-offs and pick-ups outside the RFAC aren't allowed (yellow lines). Try Albury Avenue, Sharpe Road, or Owens Road. Silver Road has limited parking on weekends, holidays, and after 5pm on school days.
Show day
Every Workshop ends with a performance! Doors open 3:45pm, the show runs 4:00–5:00pm (45–60 mins). Children wear black clothing with closed in shoes for health and safety.
What to bring
- Comfortable clothing for dance and drama, plus a spare shirt for art class
- Packed morning tea, lunch and a water bottle (no food making facilities on site)
- A quiet time activity — books, colouring, cards (no devices)
- Suitable clothing and footwear for going outdoors
